Mammon's Gospel

Money, the Church, and the God We Actually Serve

A theological examination of financial idolatry and the prosperity gospel — and how the Church's relationship with money reveals what it actually believes, not what it preaches. Written for the pastor, the elder, and the serious believer who has always sensed that something is wrong with what the wealth-and-blessing framework promises.

The Problem of Association

Bruno's doctoral dissertation at Liberty University examines what he calls the Problem of Association: the theological and pastoral question of how musical style carries cultural meaning for specific congregations, and what obligations that creates for worship leaders applying Paul's framework in Romans 14 and 1 Corinthians 8-10. The research draws on ministry experience across five continents, with particular attention to cross-cultural contexts in Brazil, Russia, and Asia. An academic article on this topic is forthcoming.
