Bruno Miranda is a musician, worship theologian, author, educator, and ordained minister whose career spans three decades, every continent, and an unusually wide range of creative and scholarly work. Born in São Paulo, Brazil, he moved to the United States at eighteen and trained at Berklee College of Music, where he earned a degree in Music Production and Engineering. He later completed a Master's degree in Music Technology from Indiana University and is currently completing doctoral studies in Christian Worship at Liberty University, where he also serves as faculty.
In 2005, through a set of circumstances that require their own telling, Bruno was invited to serve as Music Director to Dr. Ron Kenoly, one of the foundational figures of modern praise and worship music. He held that role for twenty-one years, traveling across more than 25 nations and every continent of Dr. Kenoly's global ministry, leading worship alongside some of the finest musicians and practitioners in the field. Dr. Kenoly passed into glory in February 2026. The years Bruno spent at his side form the theological and ministerial foundation of everything he writes and teaches.
A 2x Latin Grammy-nominated producer and engineer, Global Music Awards recipient, and Anthem Award honoree, Bruno has built a parallel life of studio work, compositional projects, and collaborative recording, including neo-classical duo albums with José Valentino and a debut solo instrumental album, PROVIDENCE (2026), produced with Carlson Barros and featuring José Valentino and Danilo Sinna. He is the founder of Lumen Sound Press, the publishing imprint for his scholarly and ministerial writing. His two forthcoming books, The Hermeneutics of Praise and Worship: How the Songs We Sing Form the Faith We Hold and Mammon's Gospel: Money, the Church, and the God We Actually Serve, are both scheduled for Fall 2026.
Bruno was ordained to the Gospel Ministry by the First Baptist Church of Mount Dora, Florida, on January 29, 2023. He lives in Florida with his wife Mariane and their two children.
